The Feather Awards is O.R. Tambo International Airport’s annual premium stakeholder event during which stakeholder excellence is celebrated and rewarded through awards in various categories.

Mason was appointed to manage and produce a creative concept – A 1920s Great Gatsby Ball -sumptuously-realized Jazz Age/African New Age extravaganza to tell a tumble of good stories through the multitude of Charismatic Characters – Electro Swing – Acrobatics – Gastronomy – Good Looks – and Technical Production. A showstopping artist line-up boasted Anele Mdoda, Robin Banks, Siphokasi, the Afro Tenors and Mzansi Youth Choir – topped with a tumble of balloons and stardust sparkle – the tagline lived: Lets Party like Gatsby!

CEO Roadshow

The company’s Corporate Affairs Engagement Department identified the need for continuous engagement with staff on business and operational issues within the company – the solution: CEO Airports Company South Africa CEO Roadshow, with engagement productions including the O.R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA), Cape Town (CTIA), King Shaka (KSIA) Bram Fischer (BFN) , Upington (UTN), Port Elizabeth (PLZ), East London Airport (ELS), George Airport (GRG), Kimberley Airport and the Corporate office.

The Mason Team offered a high performance, innovative and informative programme, themed Think. Act. Be Different – reflecting on the 2025 vision of Airports Company South Africa.

Annual CEO Golf Day

Mason hosted the Annual CEO Golf Day to a 110 Field, a flagship event inviting Business Partners and Key Stakeholders to a day of sport, networking and appreciation. Our team delivered a superb golfer and non-golfer experience on the iconic Houghton Golf Club’s greens – themed watering holes, professional coaching sessions, a swing analysis an Africology Spa, Cognac & Cigar Tasting, and Prize-Giving dinner facilitated by Thomas Mlambo and Tumi Morake.
