It is through Mason’s magnetic work culture that memorable friendships were formed and grew over time. As a team, we thrived to be recognized for the best; from planning, production, all the way through to the execution. A monumental narrative of how Mason and its ever-extending team will continue transforming together.
We inspire. We incite. We are ideas focused and if no one tells our story, then who will.
“I met Yvette Maston in the early ‘90s when I was in the music industry and she was working with the Manager of an artist signed to our company. Later on we proceeded to work together for a couple of years at what was then, the Rand Easter Show. Yvette was an excellent event producer for the entertainment side of the Rand Show. Fast forward to 2013, I have been involved with the Mason Company since then on a number of very exciting projects. Yvette’s determination, commitment, hard work always, are a great example to be followed for success. #Mason2020 may it endure another 20 years, it’s been a pleasure!” – Micaela Soliani
Happy 20th anniversary to Mason Show Management! It’s been a pleasure woring with the team for the past 17 years of the 20 years…I have so many highlights from those years. The best was when I was given an opportunity to be a stage manager for the first time. That was in my second year of being involved in the entertainment industry. The shows took place at the Rand Show, (Metro FM festival & YFM festival). The best performance that I remember was of Mafikizolo, Mzekezee, the late TK & Lebo Mathosa. Some of the other experiences that come to mind: Metro fm 21st celebration tour (2006), Dr Victor CD launch, Kaya FM (Afropolitan), Summer Vibes Tour (Ludacris & Kelly Rowland), Metro FM Music Awards (2010). I would like to wish Mason another fruitful 20 years of existence.” – Andrew Poane
Being a part of Mason was one the most exciting times of my life – the energy is unforgettable! One of the highlights has to be the Rand Show, this event had so many levels of entertainment – it was truly dynamic. But the concerts were the high point for me, from the start of stage design to artist selection. To watch each piece of scaffolding and lighting for the stage being put together in one instance, to the next watching and listening to the likes of Malaika, Lebo, Mandoza, Skwatta Kamp etc. with 25,000 people around us – what a moment!- Bianca
